Abstract

This study used a quasi-experimental method. The research design used a one-group pre-test and post-test to determine the effect of health promotion on elderly people's knowledge about gout arthritis. By using the Wilcoxon test, the results obtained were p=0,000, which can be concluded that providing health promotion using audiovisuals is effective in increasing the knowledge of the elderly about gout arthritis. Health promotion using audiovisuals effectively increases the knowledge of the elderly about gout arthritis. It can be concluded that health promotion using audiovisuals effectively increases the knowledge of the elderly about gout arthritis.
