PENGARUH KONSELING PENDIDIKAN KESEHATAN REPRODUKSI TERHADAP PENURUNAN NIAT PERNIKAHAN DINI PADA REMAJA DI PONPES NURUL ULUM JEMBER

Abstract
Pernikahan dini masih menjadi permasalahan serius di Indonesia, khususnya di wilayah pedesaan seperti Kecamatan Silo, Kabupaten Jember. Rendahnya pemahaman remaja mengenai kesehatan reproduksi turut berkontribusi terhadap tingginya niat menikah di usia muda yaitu 47,40%. Intervensi berupa konseling kesehatan reproduksi di lingkungan pendidikan keagamaan seperti madrasah dapat menjadi strategi preventif yang efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh konseling pendidikan kesehatan reproduksi terhadap penurunan niat pernikahan dini pada remaja di Ponpes Nurul Ulum Kabupaten Jember. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuasi-eksperimental dengan pendekatan pretest-posttest without control group. Sampel terdiri dari 35 siswa kelas VIII dan IX yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Intervensi dilakukan melalui empat sesi konseling terstruktur yang membahas hak kesehatan reproduksi, risiko pernikahan dini, dampak psikososial, dan pentingnya pendidikan serta perencanaan masa depan. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner skala Likert untuk mengukur niat pernikahan dini sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Analisis data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya penurunan skor rata-rata niat pernikahan dini setelah dilakukan konseling. Uji statistik menunjukkan nilai p < 0,05, yang berarti konseling pendidikan kesehatan reproduksi memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap penurunan niat pernikahan dini pada remaja. Konseling pendidikan kesehatan reproduksi terbukti efektif dalam menurunkan niat pernikahan dini pada remaja di lingkungan madrasah.

Early marriage remains a serious issue in Indonesia, particularly in rural areas such as Silo District, Jember Regency. The low level of adolescent understanding regarding reproductive health contributes to a high intention to marry at a young age are 47,40%. Interventions in the form of reproductive health counseling within religious educational institutions such as madrasahs can serve as an effective preventive strategy. This study aims to analyze the effect of reproductive health education counseling on reducing the intention of early marriage among adolescents at PonPes Nurul Ulum, Silo District, Jember Regency. This study employed a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest without control group approach. The sample consisted of 35 eighth- and ninth-grade students selected through purposive sampling. The intervention was carried out through four structured counseling sessions addressing reproductive health rights, risks of early marriage, psychosocial impacts, and the importance of education and future planning. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire to measure the intention of early marriage before and after the intervention. Data analysis was performed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The analysis showed a decrease in the average score of early marriage intention following the counseling sessions. The statistical test yielded a p-value of < 0.05, indicating that reproductive health education counseling had a significant effect on reducing the intention of early marriage among adolescents. Reproductive health education counseling is proven to be effective in lowering the intention of early marriage among adolescents in madrasah settings.
