ANALISIS BEBAN KERJA TERHADAP KEPUASAN KERJA PERAWAT

Abstract
Perawat merupakan kelompok paling depan dan dekat dengan pasien. Perawat dituntut untuk memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam berbagai bidang keperawatan. Perawat memiliki peran dalam melakukan tugas sebagai pemberi asuhan, pengelola pelayanan, pelaksana tugas keperawatan dan konselor bagi pasien. Sebagai pemberi asuhan keperawatan, perawat membantu pasien mendapatkan kesehatannya secara holistik, meliputi keadaan emosi, spiritual dan sosial dari pasien. Selain itu, perawat juga dituntut memberikan perawatan hingga menentukan diagnosis keperawatan dengan tepat. Keadaan itu dapat mempengaruhi respon fisik dan psikologis perawat serta dapat meningkatkan beban kerja perawat. Beban kerja yang terlalu berlebihan akan menimbulkan kelelahan fisik, mental, emosional dan semuanya itu dapat mempengaruhi kepuasan kerja perawat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan beban kerja dengan kepuasan kerja perawat di ruang rawat inap penyakit dalam RS “X” di Jawa Tengah. Metode penelitian menggunakan desain kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Uji statistik yang digunakan adalah uji chi square dengan nilai signifikan ?<0,05. Subjek penelitian ini adalah perawat tetap yang bekerja di Ruang Rawat Inap Penyakit dalam di rumah sakit “X” di Jawa Tengah dengan sampel sebanyak 41 perawat yang diambil menggunakan teknik total populasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan mayoritas responden sebanyak 22 orang (53,7%) memiliki beban kerja ringan dan 25 orang (61%) memiliki kepuasan kerja rendah. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara beban kerja dengan kepuasan kerja perawat (OR = 7,70; CI 95% = 1,72 hingga 34,4; p = 0,005). Beban kerja yang ringan dapat meningkatkan kepuasan kerja perawat sebesar 7,70 kali lebih tinggi dari pada beban kerja yang berat.

Nurses are the group at the front and closest to patients. Nurses are required to have knowledge and skills in various fields of nursing. Nurses have a role in carrying out their duties as providers of care, service managers, executors of nursing duties and counselors for patients. As providers of nursing care, nurses help patients achieve holistic health, including the patient's emotional, spiritual and social state. Apart from that, nurses are also required to provide care to determine the correct nursing diagnosis. This situation can affect the physical and psychological response of nurses and can increase the workload of nurses. Excessive workload will cause physical, mental and emotional fatigue and all of this can affect nurses' job satisfaction. The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between workload and job satisfaction of nurses in the internal medicine inpatient ward at "X" Hospital in Central Java. The research method uses a quantitative design with a cross sectional approach. The statistical test used is the chi square test with a significant value of ?<0.05. The subjects of this research were permanent nurses who worked in the Internal Medicine Inpatient Room at "X" Hospital in Central Java with a sample of 41 nurses taken using the total population technique. The research results showed that the majority of respondents, 22 people (53.7%) had a light workload and 25 people (61%) had low job satisfaction. The conclusion of this study shows that there is a significant relationship between workload and nurses' job satisfaction (OR = 7.70; 95% CI = 1.72 to 34.4; p = 0.005). A light workload can increase nurses' job satisfaction by 7.70 times higher than a heavy workload.
