ANALISIS KESEHATAN MENTAL MAHASISWA SEKOLAH TINGGI ILMU KESEHATAN PANTI KOSALA

Abstract
Masalah kesehatan mental remaja mulai disadari sebagai sesuatu yang sangat penting. Survey I-NAMHS (Indonesia- National Adolescent Mental Health Survey) pada tahun 2021 di Indonesia diperoleh hasil satu dari tiga remaja (34,9%) setara dengan 15,5 juta remaja Indonesia memiliki satu masalah kesehatan mental dalam 12 bulan terakhir. Banyak faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi kesehatan mental remaja. Meskipun kondisi gangguan mental akan sangat bergantung pada kerentanan masing-masing individu ketika mendapatkan tekanan. Kondisi yang demikian tentu tidak dapat diabaikan karena akan menimbulkan masalah seperti hambatan dalam proses pembelajaran, gangguan dalam melakukan kegiatan sehari-hari, sampai dengan timbulnya masalah kesehatan yang lebih berat atau gangguan jiwa. Data studi pendahuluan menunjukkan beberapa mahasiswa mengalami masalah non akademik sehingga harus dilakukan konseling dan sejauh ini belum pernah dilakukan survey tentang kesehatan mental mahasiswa. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui faktor yang mempengaruhi kesehatan mental mahasiswa Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Kesehatan Panti Kosala. Subyek penelitian ini mahasiswa Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Kesehatan Panti Kosala. Jenis penelitian analitik observasional dengan desain korelasi pada 161 responden dengan random sampling, menggunakan kuesioner The Mental Health Continum-Short Form (MHC-SF), Depression Anxiety Stress Scale (DASS) dan kuesioner terkait faktor yang mempengaruhi kesehatan mental. Analisa data dengan Chi Square dan regresi logistik. Hasil penelitian : (1) secara bivariat faktor individu, faktor keluarga, faktor lingkungan dan faktor sosial mempengaruhi kesehatan mental dengan nilai p = < 0,005. (2) secara bersama-sama faktor individu lebih mempengaruhi kesehatan mental remaja dengan nilai p = 0.006 dan OR 3.612. Kesimpulan penelitian menunjukkan faktor individu lebih berpengaruh secara parsial terhadap kesehatan mental remaja.

Mental health problems in adolescents are beginning to be recognized as something very important. The I-NAMHS (Indonesia-National Adolescent Mental Health Survey) survey in 2021 in Indonesia found that one in three adolescents (34.9%) equivalent to 15.5 million Indonesian adolescents had one mental health problem in the last 12 months. Many factors can affect adolescent mental health. Although the condition of mental disorders will greatly depend on the vulnerability of each individual when under pressure. Such conditions certainly cannot be ignored because they will cause problems such as obstacles in the learning process, disruption in carrying out daily activities, to the emergence of more serious health problems or mental disorders. Preliminary study data shows that some students experience non-academic problems so that counseling must be carried out and so far there has been no survey on student mental health. Research objectives: to determine the factors that influence the mental health of students at the Panti Kosala Health Sciences College. Research subjects: students at the Panti Kosala Health Sciences College. Method: observational analytical research with a correlation design on 161 respondents with random sampling, using the Mental Health Continum-Short Form (MHC-SF) questionnaire, Depression Anxiety Stress Scale (DASS) and questionnaires related to factors that influence mental health. Data analysis with Chi Square and logistic regression. Research results: (1) bivariately individual factors, family factors, environmental factors and social factors influence mental health with a p value = <0.005. (2) together individual factors influence adolescent mental health more with a p value = 0.006 and OR 3.612. Conclusion: individual factors have a greater partial influence on adolescent mental health.
