TERAPI KOMPLEMENTER TEKNIK AKUPRESUR DAN AROMATERAPI JASMINE OIL TERHADAP PRODUKSI ASI PADA IBU POST PARTUM

Abstract
Air Susu Ibu merupakan makanan bagi bayi enam bulan pertama secara eksklusif dimana ASI memiliki komposisi nutrisi yang paling tepat untuk kebutuhan bayi. Cakupan ASI eksklusif di Indonesia pada 2020 yaitu sebesar 66,06% dan di Provinsi Bali tahun 2020 sebesar 76,4%, namun cakupan ASI Eksklusif di Kota Denpasar tahun 2020 yaitu 50,7 % mengalami penurunan bila dibandingkan tahun 2019 yaitu 60%, tidak diberikannya ASI Eksklusif pada bayi, oleh karena ASI yang tidak keluar. Salah satunya upaya non farmakologis yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan produksi ASI yaitu pemberian aromaterapi jasmine dan melakukan akupresure. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui efektifitas terapi komplementer teknik akupresure dan aromaterapi jasmine oil. Metode penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu (quasi eksperimen) dengan rancangan two group pretest-posttest design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 30 ibu postpartum di 2 Tempat Praktik Mandiri Bidan (TPMB) Wilayah Kota Denpasar, yang dibagi menjadi 15 kelompok perlakuan dan 15 kelompok kontrol sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi dengan teknik purposive sampling. Penelitian ini dilakukan dari bulan Agustus sampai bulan Oktober 2024. Hasil penelitian: hasil uji statistik, didapatkan nilai mean kelompok kontrol yaitu sebesar 9,33 dan pada kelompok intervensi sebesar 8,80 sebelum diberikan Teknik Akupresur dan Aromaterapi Jasmine Oil, sedangkan nilai mean setelah diberikan Teknik Akupresur dan Aromaterapi Jasmine Oil, pada kelompok kontrol sebesar 9,80 dan pada kelompok intervensi yaitu sebesar 12,06. Hasil uji Independent T-Test menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan signifikan produksi ASI antara kelompok kontrol dan kelompok intervensi sesudah diberikan teknik akupresur dan aromaterapi jasmine oil dengan p value sebesar 0,036<0,05. Kesimpulan: terapi komplementer teknik akupresur dan aromaterapi jasmine oil efektif meningkatkan produksi ASI pada ibu postpartum.

Breast milk is exclusively food for babies in the first six months, where breast milk has the most appropriate nutritional composition for the baby's needs. Exclusive breastfeeding coverage in Indonesia in 2020 was 66.06% and in Bali Province in 2020 it was 76.4%, however exclusive breastfeeding coverage in Denpasar City in 2020 was 50.7%, a decrease compared to 2019, namely 60%, no giving exclusive breast milk to babies, because breast milk does not come out. One of the non-pharmacological efforts that can be done to increase breast milk production is giving jasmine aromatherapy and doing acupressure. The aim: to determine the effectiveness of complementary therapy with acupressure techniques and jasmine oil aromatherapy. Method: The research is a quasi-experiment with a two group pretest-posttest design. The sample in this study was 30 postpartum mothers in 2 Independent Midwife Practice Places (TPMB) in the Denpasar City area, who were divided into 15 treatment groups and 15 control groups according to the inclusion criteria using a purposive sampling technique. This research was conducted from August to October 2024. Results: the results of statistical tests showed that the mean value of the control group was 9.33 and the intervention group was 8.80 before being given the Jasmine Oil Acupressure and Aromatherapy Technique, while the mean value after being given the Jasmine Oil Acupressure and Aromatherapy Technique, in the control group was 9.80 and in the intervention group it was 12.06. The results of the Independent T-Test showed that there was a significant difference in breast milk production between the control group and the intervention group after being given the Acupressure Technique and Jasmine Oil Aromatherapy with a p value of 0.036<0.05. Conclusion: Complementary therapy with acupressure techniques and jasmine oil aromatherapy is effective in increasing breast milk production in postpartum mothers.
