EFEKTIVITAS TERAPI SPIRITUAL EMOTIONAL FREEDOM TECHNIQUE (SEFT) UNTUK MENURUNKAN PERILAKU MEROKOK PADA REMAJA

Abstract
Merokok merupakan salah satu masalah kesehatan yang perlu perhatian serius karena tingkat penggunaannya masih tinggi di Indonesia. Data dari Riset Kesehatan Dasar tahun 2018 menyatakan bahwa terdapat peningkatan prevalensi merokok penduduk umur 10 Tahun dari 28,8% pada tahun 2013 menjadi 29,3% pada tahun 2018. Pada saat sekarang ini, kebiasaan merokok tidak hanya menjadi masalah pada orang dewasa, namun juga semakin marak pada kalangan anak dan remaja. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan meningkatnya prevalensi merokok pada populasi usia 10-18 tahun yakni sebesar 1,9% dari tahun 2013 (7,2%) ke tahun 2018 (9,1%) (Kemenkes RI, 2020). Upaya menghentikan perilaku merokok bukanlah usaha mudah, terlebih lagi bagi perokok di Indonesia. Perlu berbagai cara atau metode untuk menurunkan jumlah perokok. Salah satu cara mengatasi perilaku merokok diantaranya yaitu dengan terapi Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique (SEFT). Untuk itu perlu penelitian untuk menilai efektivitas terapi tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui efektifitas terapi Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique (SEFT) untuk menurunkan perilaku merokok pada remaja. Jenis penelitian adalah analisis observasional dengan desain korelasi, untuk mengetahui efektifitas terapi Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique (SEFT) untuk menurunkan perilaku merokok pada remaja. Subyek penelitian adalah Remaja di Kelurahan Tipes, Kecamatan Serengan, Kota Surakarta, Jawa Tengah sebanyak 36 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Rerata konsumsi rokok sebelum dilakukan intervensi SEFT perhari adalah 6 batang. Sedangkan rerata konsumsi rokok setelah dilakukan intervensi SEFT perhari adalah 3,6 batang. Kesimpulan penelitian ini yaitu Terapi Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique (SEFT) efektif untuk menurunkan perilaku merokok pada remaja (p = 0,001).

Smoking is a health problem that needs serious attention because the level of its use is still high in Indonesia. Data from the 2018 Basic Health Research stated that there was an increase in the prevalence of smoking in the population aged 10 years from 28.8% in 2013 to 29.3% in 2018. At the present time, smoking is not only a problem in adults, but It is also increasingly common among children and adolescents. This is evidenced by the increasing prevalence of smoking in the population aged 10-18 years, namely by 1.9% from 2013 (7.2%) to 2018 (9.1%) (RI Ministry of Health, 2020). Efforts to stop smoking behavior are not easy, especially for smokers in Indonesia. Need various ways or methods to reduce the number of smokers. One of the ways to overcome smoking behavior is through Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique (SEFT) therapy. For this reason, research is needed to assess the effectiveness of this therapy. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique (SEFT) therapy to reduce smoking behavior in adolescents. The method that the researchers will use is observational analysis with a correlation design, to determine the effectiveness of the Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique (SEFT) therapy to reduce smoking behavior in adolescents. There are 36 teenagers in theTypes Village, Serengan District, Surakarta City, Central Java.
Result showed that the The average daily consumption of cigarettes before the SEFT intervention was 6 cigarettes. Meanwhile, the average daily consumption of cigarettes after the SEFT intervention was 3.6 cigarettes. It can be concluded that Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique (SEFT) therapy is effective in reducing smoking behavior in adolescents (p = 0.001).
