PENGARUH EDUKASI PERILAKU HIDUP BERSIH DAN SEHAT (PHBS) TERHADAP PERILAKU PENCEGAHAN COVID-19 PADA ANAK USIA SEKOLAH

Abstract

Latar Belakang: usia anak-anak sangat rentan terinfeksi Covid-19. Sejumlah anak dengan usia kurang dari 18 tahunsebanyak79,5 jutamerupakan30,1% dari kasus anak terkonfirmasi positif Covid-19,dimana8,1% positif Covid-19, 8,6% dirawat, 8,3%sembuhdan 1,6% meninggal.Pencegahan Covid-19antara lain menerapkan Pola Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS),yaknimencuci tangan pakai sabun, menggunakan masker saat batuk atau pilek, rutin berolahraga, istirahat yang cukup dan makanmakanan seimbangdenganbanyak sayur dan buah. Upaya pencegahan tersebut dapat ditingkatkan dengan melakukan edukasitentang PHBS dan pencegahan Covid-19agar anak terhindar dari penyakit tersebut.Tujuan: mengetahui pengaruh pendidikan Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS) terhadap perilaku pencegahan Covid-19pada anak usia sekolah.Subyek dan Metode: penelitian ini merupakan penelitianeksperimental dengandesain satu kelompok pre-tes dan post-tes,untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendidikan PHBSterhadap perilaku pencegahan Covid-19pada anak usia sekolah. Analisis data menggunakanuji-tberpasangan.Populasi penelitian adalahsiswa dari kelas 4 sampai 6 di SDN 01 Malanggatensebanyak60 siswa.Pengambilan sampel menggunakan tekniksampling jenuh.Hasil:rerata nilai sebelum pendidikan 12,2750dan sesudah pendidikan 15,1000, selisih rata-ratanilai-2,82500, standardeviasi 2,70695. Berdasarkan nilai selisih rata-rata (mean difference) yang bernilai negatif yaitu -2,82500, maka dapat diartikan bahwa hasil setelah diberikan pendidikanlebih tinggi dibandingkan sebelumdiberikan pendidikan, dengan nilai sig. (2-tailed) nilai p = 0,001.Kesimpulan:edukasi perilaku PHBS sangat efektif untuk meningkatkan perilaku pencegahan Covid-19.

Background:Children are very vulnerable to being infected with Covid-19. A number of children aged less than 18 years as many as 79.5 million constitute 30.1% of child cases confirmed positive for Covid-19, of which 8.1% were positive for Covid-19, 8.6% were treated,8.3% recovered and 1 ,6% died. Prevention of Covid-19 includes implementing a Clean and HealthyLiving Behavior(PHBS), including washing hands with soap, using masks when coughing or colds, exercising regularly, getting enough rest and eating a balanced diet with lots of vegetables and fruits. These prevention effortscan be increased by conducting education about PHBS and prevention of Covid-19 so that children avoid the disease.Theaimof the study:to determine the effect of education on clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS) on the behavior of preventing Covid-19in school-age children.


Subject and Methods: This study is an experimental study with a pre-test and post-test group design, to determine the effect of PHBS education on Covid-19 prevention behavior in school-age children. Data analysis used paired t-test. The research population was students fromgrades 4 to 6 at SDN 01 Malanggaten as many as 60 students. Sampling using saturated sampling technique.Results:Mean value before education 12,2750 and after education 15.1000, meanvaluedifferences -2,82500, std deviation 2,70695. Based on the value of the mean difference (mean differences) is negative, namely -2,82500, it can be interpreted that the result after being given education is higher than before being given education, with sig. (2-tailed) p value = 0,001.Conclusion:PHBS behavior education is significantly effective for improving Covid-19 prevention behavior.
