STATUS GIZI BERHUBUNGAN DENGAN KADAR GLUKOSA DARAH PUASA PADA PASIEN DM TIPE II DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS MLATI II YOGYAKARTA

Abstract
Glukosa Darah Puasa (GDP) sebagai penanda Diabetes Mellitus (DM) adalah kondisi medis dengan peningkatan kadar glukosa darah melebihi batas normal dalam tubuh dalam kondisi setelah puasa. Status gizi merupakan keadaan tubuh akibat konsumsi makanan dan penggunaan zat-zat gizi. Pada DM Tipe 2 terjadi kondisi tubuh dengan kadar glukosa tinggi akibat kelainan pada kemampuan tubuh untuk menggunakan hormon insulin. Seseorang dengan IMT berlebihan memiliki risiko DM lebih besar dibandingkan status gizi normal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan status gizi dengan kadar glukosa darah puasa pada pasien DM Tipe 2 di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Mlati 2 Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian cross-sectional. Sampel penderita DM dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 51 orang. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Analisis bivariat menggunakan uji Rank Spearman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagian besar subjek penelitian adalah perempuan (76,47%), usia pra-lansia (56,86%), merokok (98,04%), status gizi obesitas (43,14%). Hasil uji bivariat menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara status gizi dengan kadar glukosa darah puasa puasa pasien diabetes melitus tipe 2 di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Mlati 2 Yogyakarta (p=0,000).

Fasting Blood Glucose (FBS) as a marker of Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a medical condition with an increase in blood glucose levels exceeding normal point in the body in conditions after fasting. Nutrition status is the state of body due to food consumption and use of nutrients. Type 2 DM is a condition of the body with high glucose levels due to abnormalities in the body’s ability to use the insulin hormone. A person with excessive BMI has a greater risk of DM than normal nutrition status. This study aims to determine the relationship between nutrition status fasting blood glucose levels in Type 2 DM patients in the Mlati 2 Health Center Working Area of Yogyakarta. This study used a cross-sectional research design. The sample of DM patients in this study was 51 people using purposive sampling as a sampling technique. Bivariate analysis used the Spearman Rank test. The result showed that most of the research subjects were women (76.47%), pre-elderly age (56.86%), smoking (98.04%), and obesity nutritional status (43.14%). The results of the bivariate test showed a significant relationship between nutritional status and fasting blood glucose levels in the Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus patiens in the Mlati 2 Health Center Working Area, Yogyakarta (p=0.000).
